Evaluation of patient exposure dose in CT diagnosis

The number of CT diagnosis tests and the number of devices per population are the largest in Japan over the world. Therefore, in order to optimize the dose of patients in CT diagnosis and grasp the dose in the whole country, we are conducting research and development on dose evaluation by CT diagnosis through joint research with universities and research institutes that are promoting research and development on medical exposure in Japan.
Based on the research so far, we have developed WAZA-ARIv2 that can be used in the medical field and are operating it on the server of the National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology.
