Dose evaluation in α-particle medicine treatment
Targeted nuclear medicine treatment (TAT) using alpha rays that emit high energy in a short range has attracted a great deal of public attention
as a new cancer treatment method. However, TAT has been desired to develop a system that has been used in conventional radiotherapy
such as X-ray therapy as a dose evaluation system required for establishing a treatment method.
Therefore, in cooperation with Osaka University and others, we proceeded with the development of a dose evaluation system
for TAT that calculates the absorbed dose distribution using PHITS.
