Kyohei Otani is a researcher of Research Group for Corrosion Resistant Material at Japan Atomic Energy Agency. He received his master degree of engineering in Material science from Hokkaido university in 2012. After working at Toyo Seikan Co.,Ltd., he returned research field and recieved his doctor degree of engineering in Material science from Hokkaido University in 2018. He has been a researcher at Japan Atomic Energy Agency since 2018. His main research themes are corrosion of Steel in simulated containment vessel environment at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, and Corrosion of metals focusing on metal cations in solution.
