Yasutaka SOMA is a researcher of Research Group for Corrosion Resistant Material at Japan Atomic Energy Agency. He received his doctor degree of engineering in Material science from Tohoku university in 2010. After working as a postdoctoral researcher at Japan Atomic Energy Agency, he has been a researcher at Japan Atomic Energy Agency since 2013, and assistant principal researcher since 2018. His main research themes are corrosion phenomena of stainless steel in high temperature water.
